Product description:

The transceiver module is a complete and efficient RF transceiver, suited for exchanging data with a data rate up to 300 kbit/s.Because of the SMD construction, the module has a very small shape.
The module can be controlled directly by a microcontroller with SPI interface. This way the total hardware of the system can be limited to a minimum.

The module is available for the 868 MHz ISM frequency band used in Europe.

*** the LoRatm modem specification can be extended with a TCXO (temperature compensated oscillator) and the calibration of the center frequency. When using a TCXO, the specifications are:

- Effectieve Bitrate: 9 bps - 37.5 kbps
- Sensitivity: -111 dBm tot -148 dBm
- Maximum Link-budget: 175 dB

The maximum Link-budget can be reached with maximum transmit power, a bandwidth of 7.8 kHz, a Spreading Factor of 12 and a Coding Rate (FEC) of 4/5. The effectieve bitrate is 9.14 bits/s.

The modules work well in theory, but the amplifier is not robust at all, e.g., very susceptible to deflections of the PCB or mismatch of the antenna's impedance results in an unstable mode and destruction of the module.
